When I woke up Thursday to a TON of mail regarding an extension in the Home-buyer Tax Credit Deadline, I was amped! Stoked! I was just plain ol EXCITED about the positive implications to my beloved town of St. Augustine, FL and the real estate industry in general. I passed on the e-mails and even blogged about it. Yeah!

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a new ticket program, the “Teal Deal”, which owner Wayne Weaver called a Jacksonville Jaguars football“one-off no-brainier”. This new program gives season-ticket holders special coupon books offering more than $2,000 in discounts from local businesses. This could pump millions of dollars into the local economy.

St. Johns County’s top rated schools continue to be a draw for families moving to the area. So much so that the counties school-age population is growing so rapidly that there is a need to expand several existing schools and even build a new facility.
